Not much beats a freshy made bed. You tug the tightly tucked covers down and slip between crisp sheets, and dreamy sleep is moments away.
While the calves don’t have beds to lay in, we know they appreciate fresh, new straw to lay in. Last week I began cleaning out our baby calves’ stalls with our skid steer. Next came new, clean bedding. Then we moved the calves back home. I’m sure the running and stomping means our work met with their approval.
