A Couple Pieces and Chicks

I’ve had a good time as of late writing some fun pieces for Growing America. I’ve written here about my knife, and now expounded upon the necessity Farm Knives. A few weeks ago we had a terrible Stinky Situation involving the most likely critter you can think about. Speaking of critters, You Dirty Rat tells another story or two.

Life on the farm has also included the addition of some baby chicks for the kids. The chicks are rapidly becoming teenagers and we’re in the process of getting them a larger spot to hang out. I picked up a pamphlet on them from the local feed store for my son and now he is a complete expert on them. so if you have any questions, I know the person to ask.
