My oldest is the dancer in the family. Many, many evenings and weekends are spent going to dance practice and events. But it isn’t a one way street. She’s taken her skills and put them to good use working with the calves. It is important for them to get their exercise and be exposed to the arts.
Milk is important for building bones and is a great post-exercise drink. I often remind her of this after dance practices. Here’s a video she and I put together a few years ago to make this point.
Remember, today is Inernational Dance Day. Get up and shake a leg. Boogie woogie. Pop a socket or something. And don’t forget to drink your milk when you’re done!
